Our team designed a winning RC crane! The goal was to build a miniature bridge out of I-beams and aluminum plates and remove wooden stickers (with our innovative flipper dipper gripper tipper while minimizing machine mass and construction time.
Our crane minimized mass by adapting a sailboat mast design and minimized time by creatively optimizing the construction operations (ex: lifting two I-beams at once).
